IF you mustache...It's a...wait, no, just kidding!

I am so sorry about not keeping you up-to-date lately. Whoa baby!

Speaking of babies!!!

I have been anxiously awaiting the day my sister finds out the gender of her bebe!

Well, Wednesday was the day!

I anxiously waited by my tele, clicking the 'Home' button on my iPhone making sure I didn't miss it while looking away for .2 seconds.

One simple word summed it up. Not only revealing the gender, but the gender of BOTH BABIES!

TWINS!!!!!!!!

YES, THERE ARE TWO IN THERE!

No one even knew! NO ONE! Not my sister, not my mom, not me, not even the doc! One of the littler guys was hiding behind the other! That stinker (no pun intended :) )

Guys, do you know what this means? Double the dino and shark toys, and double the super cute outfits I pick out for them!!! I can't wait. I'm going to knock this "being an aunt" [all around] out of the park!

Cheers To That.

Life is an absolute BLUR right now! Between work, working out, Herbalife, my freelance projects: Max Oxygen's website, theSalon in Ames marketing, attending community events and meetings, and helping my best friend plan her wedding...not to mention, wrapping my head around that I get to find out what my sister will be having THIS month! AHhhhhasdfjlasdjkf!

It's fun though. So fun. I even make new friends doing all of that.

I love my friend, Kristen. She rocks. And she's pretty. And has a fantastic attitude and work ethic. Which added together equals greatness.

Cheers to that.

Weekend Recap! HELLOOOO MARCH!

March is my FAVORITE! Absolute, fav.or.ite! Not to mention my birthday ends the month, but the weather definitely gets me excited. (Hopefully) No more of this terrible, stabbing coldness!

I have a lot to catch you up on! First being, that you already know Mr. Collin has become a Realtor. He taught me how to pronounce it correctly yesterday...since I will help him with his business, I think I need to know how to say it  right, right? REAL-TOR not Real-a-ter. Ms. Lilly would be proud.

I caught him working hard last Friday. I'm used to him constantly talking to customers/clients on the phone, but add in being a REAL-TOR, and this is a whole new level. But I've learned it's what makes him so happy, and he is SO good at it that I love listening to his energy and how he interacts with all types of people. Excuse my cheesy face.

Then I bring you, Saturday. What a day it was! I had a blast! My good friend Kristen, gave me a little hair cut! AH! Yes, so short, so new, and I don't regret it. My long hair was getting too........dull? I don't know, but this look is for sure what I needed heading into Spring and Summer.

That night, we were invited to the Boys & Girls Club of Story County Gala. Now, if you didn't know, a Gala is a fancy name for a fancy party/fundraiser. And it was just that! Fancy food, fancy drinks, wine, cheese and bread, ect. Not to mention, two of my favorite places to be on earth were recognized for their donations!

Selfies are cool...? I couldn't seem to rotate my arms enough so you could see my braid!

Sunday was spent cleaning, meal prepping, and then we had our Herbalife Wellness Coach Graduation and Holiday Party!

And, then there was this...

Thank you for being funny, Collin. :)

Collin Fett, Licensed Real Estate Agent

Well this picture here is what is going on as of lately. My boyfriend is officially a REAL ESTATE AGENT! He has being working really hard for the last few months (since last fall) on this. I am so extremely proud of him!

Tonight we are going shopping for decorations for his new office! I was personally invited to do this with him! Quite the honor. :) I always wondered if he trusted my decorating and craft skills. I assume this might confirm that? :) Hehe.

We also have a gala this weekend. A what? Yes, a Gala. I have never been to one. But, apparently, since we are rolling with "the big dogs" (or immersing ourselves more into the community, in other words) we get invited to fun stuff like that!

Tomorrow will be a day of meeting with clients and getting my hair done and pretty! EEEEEP!

Toilet-Tasting Fishbowls

It's hard to believe where 2-3 years has gone. Or even the top photo, in 2010...Like where has time gone?

I remember both of the purpose of these photos, very well. Celebrating something in each.

A birthday and a college graduation.

Two things in life that are pretty significant, to put it simply.

While I was visiting my parents over the holiday's, a (some-what) of a stranger approached me. I knew this person very minimally, but am always welcome to friendly faces and conversation.

The beginning of the conversation was light and full of jokes. Awesome. But somehow the person asking me what I have been up to turned into that I am far "too good" to be someone of my hometown and I act like I am superior. Uh...

Of course, what I have learned in the last couple of years was that I would stay calm and keep my mind focused instead of arguing back.

The way that I live my life now is completely different than in 2010, 2011 (the bottom picture is almost 2 years after the top picture), 2012, most definitely 2013, and even 2014. I'll admit, while I was a little insulted, I did laugh a little bit, but I was more bummed for the person saying this.

It's so unfortunate that they just don't know. They do not know.

I just wanted to give a big shout out to my family and friends that have been there along the way. Also to those who went in a different direction than me, I wish them nothing but the best. I am very lucky, but would never think for a second that I can get by without putting in the work. While 'hard work' is a little stressful, exhausting, and irritating at times, I wouldn't change it. Since our early days of athletics and the "hard work pays off" quote drilled into our heads, it's the most true statement I may have ever said.

Here's to many more positive life changes!

GGRx

Hello! It's been a while. Sorry about that. :)

This past weekend was crazy fast.

A super slick, quick, and challenging all FEMALE competition (Girls Gone Rx) with a couple of my best friends. Girls Gone Rx is to Compete for A Cure! Their aim is to host an all women’s competition that is all about the fun and raises awareness for Breast Cancer.

To sum it up, we've never done an Rx competition before. We didn't win, but I'm happy to report, we can FOR SURE keep up with the big dogs. :) The 1st event we took 4th, the 2nd event had us scrambling for strategy...we just didn't completely understand the guidelines--that's ok!, and the 3rd event we took 2nd out of 15, only finishing behind the team that took 1st by 2 seconds! The last event was definitely our cake!

I hope to continue to get better at competing at heavier weights and harder movements. It's fun!
