And for your viewing pleasure, the remainder of the #ColoradoVaca Pics!
This one absolutely cracks me up! Josh just told us to jump...This happened.
Day 2 (of skiing) started a littttttle CRAZY. So the order of mountain "difficulty" goes as follows:
Green- pretty easy, there are different levels of GREEN I soon learned.
Blue- pretty difficult for a first timer...I learned all too quickly (First run, day 2)
Black- Everyone but myself could do. Sooo straight up DIFFICULT!
Double blacks- I don't even know...straight up really "flippin" difficult!
Anyways, so the boys were like go big or go home...this meant "Mollie goes down a blue on her second day of skiing." Ok...Well...I won't lie: I fell, cried, slid (a majority of this), AND skied down the blue. I obviously saw that I still have a bit of a "perfectionist" inside of me. This seems to happen with every endeavor I embark in...Start and expect to nail it right away and dont, then I become super super frustrated...dance, CrossFit, skiing...Give me 5 minutes of a cry sesh, and I'm good to go. (And then feel stupid for a good few hours because I cried.) But the Blue seemed pretty death-defying! Ask me in another year, and it might be a different story...but for now...
Then we made our way to a green that was really easy for me. Taryn and Deklyn then took me to a little bit more of a challenge of a green. This was super fun. I only fell like twice on that one. HA!
Here is the top of a run we did towards the end of the day!
I think the lift was more scary than the actual skiing. Everyone else was breaking out their phones, actually ON their phone, and being care free. Me? Clinched to the edge.
I had a blast with this group and appreciate their patience and advice more than they'll ever know! (Some were in the middle of shouting COPPER MOUNTAIN! Like the photographer asked...take 2 dang it!)
And the overly large chairs were quite the photo opp!
And my attempt at an overhead squat in my gear...NOT easy!
Post-skiing we made our way back to the cabin to watch the Superbowl. This was, by far, a top favorite trip of mine. I can't wait to go back!
