Goodbye, Ciao, Bon voyage, Shalom, Adios, Aloha...

I'm saying goodbye to a great person today.

Not forever. No way. But for now...

I met Diana around a year ago at the gym. She was the Heat and Kickboxing instructor. I remember my first class with her (kickboxing). She kicked my butt. I remember how bad my shoulders and knees hurt and that I could barely do a plank. The advanced options? NO THANKS!

She introduced herself after class and encouraged me to return. That made me feel pretty good. I didn't come back for a month or so...I was so negative about how hard the class was. I don't remember what clicked, but one day, I just told myself to go. And I've barely missed class since!

Her upbeat personality, encouragement, drive, and optimism will certainly be missed. She was always sure to keep me in check when I wanted to stop in the middle of a push up or flying jack set. Her voice will forever be in the back of my head when I want to give up.

Diana and Angela have been my cheerleaders since day 1. I can't believe how far I have come, thanks to them. If you're wondering my secret to this workout "obsession" I have...these two would be the masterminds. If you couldn't tell, they're both super fit and strive to push past the norm—which makes me want to keep up!

I'm so lucky to have met these ladies and will forever consider them part of my "gym family."

I wish Diana the best of luck as she pursues her career and expect her to visit when she can!

Me, Diana, and Angela
